My name is Christian Kroer. I am currently a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University, where I am part of the Electronic Marketplaces Lab, advised by Professor Tuomas Sandholm.

My current research interests are: Artificial intelligence, computational game theory, auctions, mechanism design, equilibrium computation, and optimization. Previously, I have worked on planning and optimization for container shipping, automated algorithm selection, and preference elicitation.

I hold a Master’s degree in Software Development and Technology from the IT University of Copenhagen (ITU). At ITU I worked mainly with the Decision Optimization Lab. I was advised by Professors Rune M. Jensen and Joseph R. Kiniry. I also hold a bachelor’s degree in Human Centered Informatics from Aalborg University.
